Helmets are primarily used to protect from falling objects, bumps, direct sunlight and for use in emergency situations. Our Safety helmets are manufactured to comply with AS/NZS 1801:1997. According to Australian Standards, helmets should be replaced after 3 years of usage. Each helmet comes with an imprinted manufacture date and an issue date sticker.
Safety helmets should undergo routine inspections in search of cracks, dents, scratches or any other damage. The structural integrity of helmets can be seriously affected by coming into contact with substances such as petrol, paint, adhesives, aerosol sprays or cleaning agents. Therefore, extra care should be taken when inspecting helmets that might come into contact with such substances. Damaged helmets should be replaced immediately.
