Dangerous Goods/Hazchem Signs
These signs relate to the labelling of dangerous goods. Dangerous goods are substances or articles that are potentially hazardous to people or property. There are nine categories that dangerous goods may fall into, including being a: corrosive, radioactive, toxic or infectious, oxidizing or reactive with water, flammable, explosive or other miscellaneous substance. Storage and handling regulations ensure the correct handling, storage and transport of dangerous goods. The correct class labels must appear on all storage areas, packaging and entrances to building that contain dangerous goods. All Dangerous Goods/Hazchem signs are manufactured to comply with Australian Standards.
